At JCR Industrial Coatings, safety is embedded in every phase of project execution. Our crews work at elevation, in confined spaces, and with hazardous materials daily. We do not treat safety as a checkbox — it is the foundation of how we operate.

Every JCR crew member holds current OSHA 30 certification, and all field supervisors maintain additional certifications in confined space rescue, fall protection competent person, and respiratory protection program management.

Tank-Specific Safety Programs

Confined Space Entry

Permit-required confined space program per OSHA 1910.146. Continuous atmospheric monitoring, trained attendants, and rescue-ready teams on every interior tank entry.

Fall Protection

100% tie-off policy for all work above 6 feet. Engineered anchor points, full-body harnesses, and self-retracting lifelines on every elevated structure.

Environmental Containment

Full containment systems with negative air pressure, HEPA filtration, and continuous perimeter monitoring. Zero environmental release on every project.

Lead Abatement Safety

Full compliance with OSHA 1926.62 lead in construction standard. Blood lead monitoring, decontamination units, and proper PPE for all lead-exposed workers.

SSPC Standards Compliance

All surface preparation and coating operations executed per SSPC-PA2 measurement standards with third-party inspection coordination and full documentation.

Respiratory Protection

Written respiratory protection program with medical evaluations, fit testing, and supplied-air respirators for all blasting and coating operations in enclosed spaces.
